NYFW: The Shoes

NYFW: The Shoes

I could tell you all thank you over and over again but that still would not express how thankful I am of all the support I received during my first official* NYFW and how blessed I feel to be able to get to do exactly what I love. Another amazing part of my job are the incredible brands I am able to work with like Marc Fisher LTD. Marc Fisher LTD takes simple, classic shoes and is able to design them to look chic and be on-trend year after year. I chose three styles, that are perfect in my eyes, for the "cool girl" look to rock during fashion week.

How I Styled Them:

Whenever I find an over-the-knee boot I love like these black Praye boots, I immediately think to style them with either a mini dress or a skirt. I like to show a little skin and I think over-the-knee boots give you the perfect opportunity to show just the right amount of skin for a sexy, yet classy look. Since it was a slightly chilly day, I thought this sweater dress paired perfectly. The boots are so clean and polished and then the dress was more grungy so I liked the contrast between the two. The Praye boots also have a slightly chunkier heel which was perfect for walking in New York City!

Velvet is one of my favorite fabrics to wear and play around with during the fall, so it was only fitting for me to choose these grey Grazi2 booties to help me make a statement with the help of their leather look. I love the design of them and think they pair perfectly with denim or a dress like the one I wore! This was perfect for a day of meetings! They are versatile and not too high, so like the Praye boots, they are also great for walking around the Big Apple. I can't wait to style them back in Los Angeles with a fur coat and denim once cooler weather comes around!

Lastly, I chose the blue velvet Cassidey2 boots because I thought they were just all around amazing! Chic and perfect for a big city, I styled these boots with washed out black denim and a sweater for a day off of exploring and walking through Central Park. I found the rock from Home Alone and I knew I needed to take a photo on it! I think they would also look good with a dress, leather jacket, and tights for a concert or night out!

Thank you to Marc Fisher LTD for partnering with me on this post. All opinions expressed above are my own and are always my own. Thank you to my readers for allowing me to do what I do!
