Three Instagram-able places in NYC that are are easily accessible and totally free

One of my close friends visited me over the past weekend and I was able to play tour guide and take her around the city to some of my favorite spots. We both love taking photos so taking photos in Instagram-able places was a must! I thought it would be a fun topic to write a blog post on and show off some cool spots that are totally free and easy to shoot at. Check them out below:

Flatiron Building (Flatiron District 21st & 5th)

I love the Flatiron building especially during the week because it's super easy to get a quick shot there and it is a classic New York City scene.

Home Alone Rock (Central Park)

If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably seen quite a few photos of me sitting or standing on the unofficial Home Alone rock in Central Park. If you shoot your photos facing south, you get a gorgeous background of either the ice skating rink in the winter, or the carnival in the fall, and then the NYC skyline behind.

Highline (Chelsea)

The Highline is a beautiful area in Chelsea that has an elevated walkway with city views year-round. I love taking a walk across it and their are cute boutique shops and restaurants surrounding it. If you haven't been before it's definitely a must when visiting NYC.
