How To Rock a Bold Lip This Season
I get a bit nervous experimenting with different makeup looks and colors I don’t typically wear. However, the other day I played some new eyeshadow palettes and lipstick colors and this look was my favorite. I love how the pink lipstick isn’t too dark or too bright. It’s by Givenchy Beauty and it’s the color Rose Boise from their Le Rouge Velvet Collection.
I would say the best way to rock a bold lip is by pairing it with a bold eyeshadow look, so you don’t have your classic makeup look (possibly minimal like mine usually is) and then all of a sudden a pop of color. I think by combing the two it looks more subtle!
How I got this look
(click on Makeup type to shop):
Foundation: Born This Way by TooFaced in shade Vanilla.
Concealer: Born This Way by TooFaced in shade Nude.
Blush + Bronzer: Instant Look in a Face & Eye Palette by Charlotte Tilbury.
Eyebrow Pencil: Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra Fine Shape & Define in shade 4.
Eyeliner: Highliner by Marc Jacobs Beauty in shade Blacquer. I’ve tried a ton, this one is my favorite and the easiest to use!
Eyeshadow: Extra Spicy Gingerbread Palette by TooFaced. Vanilla Wafers all over, then For The Graham on mid to outer-eye, topped with Cinna-Moan in the crease and used as liner under bottom lash line. I also put Lick The Spoon in inner eye crease.
Lip: Matte and velvety by Givenchy Beauty and it’s the color Rose Boise.
