Staycation in Westlake Village
I spent the 3 day weekend at the breathtakingly beautiful Four Seasons hotel in Westlake Village, California.
The hotel is located about 30 minutes north of Hollywood in the sunny and green Westlake Village area. My best friend Emmy came and stayed at the hotel with me and we spent the long weekend laughing, eating, and relaxing. We even got lucky with the weather and were able to spend our second day poolside! Only in Southern California would it be 70 degrees and sunny in the middle of January!
When we arrived Friday evening, we went to Onyx, the hotel's Japanese Restaurant ordered fried rice, some sushi, and a spicy miso vegetable soup. Everything was so good! The highlight for me was their desserts! They were all so artistic and tasteful. They were generous enough to bring out nearly one of each for me to try! My favorite was the Forbidden Rice Panna Cotta (top right).
I started the next day with their Farmer's Market breakfast in the lobby lounge, followed by the gym, and then the indoor pool. The indoor pool has a glass ceiling where the sun shined through and lit up the whole room. It was so placid and beautiful! Their gym is state of the art and they even offer a variety of classes!

We then transitioned to their outdoor pool by the spa and drank some smoothies poolside in the 70 degree weather!
It isn't so often that I get to spend a weekend relaxing and chilling so close to home, and like I have previously mentioned, I feel it is essential to have the opportunity to clear my head and stay in the moment. It was so nice to just take a day to chill and do absolutely nothing! On the final morning, I received a complementary full body tranquility massage. It was superb. Not only was I able to truly relax, the grapeseed oil on my skin felt like heaven! The Westlake Four Seasons location currently has the largest spa out of the entire Four Seasons hotel collection! Pretty cool right?!
When I left on Sunday, I felt humbled and refreshed. I want to say a huge thank you to the Four Seasons, Westlake Village for partnering with me on this post and for spoiling me over this past weekend.
