The Four Seasons: Punta Mita, Mexico
To close out 2019, I took a trip to the Four Seasons in Punta Mita, Mexico. The trip was absolutely sensational, from the spa, to the beach, to the food, everything far surpassed my expectations.
The Four Seasons in Punta Mita is located along the Southwest coast of Mexico. The hotel provides a unique experience for a family vacation, couples retreat, or a romantic getaway. There is something for everyone. Punta Mita is only a 3-hour flight from Los Angeles (nearest airport is PVR). Harry and I went from Thursday-Sunday for a romantic, long-weekend. It was PERFECT. We seriously did not have one complaint.
So let’s start with our room, it was spacious and absolutely gorgeous to wake up to the view of the ocean in the morning. The first day we ordered breakfast to the room and enjoyed the meal on our terrace. Now that I’m looking at the food photo my mouth is salivating…Lol. The food at this hotel was not normal, seriously (in a good way). From traditional Mexican cuisine, to Asian-fusion, to seaside surf and turf, each restaurant offers a unique culinary experience and there is again, something for everyone. Honestly, I was excited for every meal we had because they always outdid themselves. The chef came over to our table and introduced themselves at each restaurant. They pampered us with table side drinks and specialties from the chef. Not once were we unsatisfied after a meal. We actually couldn’t stop talking about the food since we made it a rule to leave our phones behind during dinners this trip.
The spa… oh the spa. It was heavenly. Harry and I received an 80-minute, tequila-infused, hot stone massage. He fell asleep, so I think that serves as a proper representation of how tranquil it was. My back was messed up from the flight, and my masseuse took her time working around my back with her hands and the hot stones to make me feel good as new. In fact, I actually felt better than I did when I left LA. The facilities included different temperature pools, a sauna, steam room, and full spa showers with amenities (shown above).
Let’s move on to the pool/beach sitch. The pools are epic, we spent nearly all our time at the adult pool in a cabana (shown above) but this hotel has it all. They have a Lazy River, a beach view infinity pool, swinging chairs on the beach, I mean the list actually goes on and on. The adult pool was just so peaceful and quiet, and the Piña Coladas (virgin, of course) were the best ever!!!! The hotel was over 85% full, but since the property is so large and spread out, Harry and I barely saw anyone other than the friendly staff.
Now that I have raved about the hotel, let’s move onto what I wore:

Thank you to the Four Seasons for your generous hospitality and incredible stay. I can’t tell you how much I needed this.
