Power to the Plaid

Plaid is one of the trendiest prints in fashion at the moment and I absolutely love it! It's such a great pattern to transition your closet from summer to fall and even fall to winter. Since all plaid pieces I have found derive from the primary colors (red, blue, and yellow), the print can literally be paired with anything. I love paring this distressed denim jacket from La Detresse with this plaid dress from Diving Heritage. I wore these fun and glittery Golden Goose sneakers to make it more casual, but it would also look great with boots or little black heeled booties for nighttime. As it starts to get colder outside, I am excited to try out mixing delicate plaid pieces with oversized jackets and chunky knits. I'm also going to try sheer black tights and thick-soled boots to make the look more grungy!
